Wil’s journey began in the beauty industry, where his extraordinary talent as a hairstylist and makeup artist quickly distinguished him as one of the region’s most respected professionals. His artistry, creativity, and commitment to excellence led to opportunities on some of the industry’s most prestigious stages, including New York Fashion Week, national beauty campaigns, television productions, pageant systems, and educational platforms across the country.
Over the years, he has earned numerous accolades, including multiple NAACP Black Men Rock Image Awards, Makeup Artist of the Year, Best Hair Colorist, and recognition as a Media Mogul. His work has touched the lives of thousands of women and professionals seeking not only a new look, but a renewed sense of confidence.
Yet as his career evolved, Wil discovered that the most profound transformations were not happening in the salon chair—they were happening in the conversations.
He realized that many people were struggling with more than their appearance. They were wrestling with confidence, identity, self-worth, visibility, leadership presence, and personal branding. They wanted to be seen, heard, respected, and valued—but often lacked the tools and clarity to present themselves in a way that reflected their true potential.
Determined to deepen his expertise, Wil pursued advanced education and earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing, where he developed a sophisticated understanding of branding, consumer behavior, positioning, perception, communication strategy, and influence. This educational foundation allowed him to bridge two powerful worlds: the science of branding and the art of personal transformation.
Today, Wil combines his extensive background in image consulting, coaching, marketing, leadership development, and human services to help individuals and organizations build authentic, impactful brands from the inside out.
As Founder of L.F.I. Coaching & Development, President of Wil Strayhorn, LLC, Owner of Let’s Face It Makeup & Hair Studio, and CEO of Renewed Hope Incorporated, Wil has dedicated his career to helping others uncover their strengths, define their message, and step confidently into their purpose.
He is also a Qualified Mental Health Professional, transformational coach, speaker, author, entrepreneur, and media personality whose unique perspective allows him to connect deeply with clients from every walk of life.
